Ingredients
Dahl – 250 g or 2 Cups
Two green Chillies
1 Stem of Curry Leaves
2 Sticks of Cinnamon
3 Cloves of Garlic
Coconut Milk (Optional) – 1 Cup
1/2 of Onion (Diced)
Spices
2 Teaspoons of chilli flakes (Proportion Optional)
1/2 teaspoon of Turmeric
1 1/2 of Curry Powder
2-3 Teaspoon of Salt
Method
- Wash the Dahl thoroughly
- Place a pot on the stove on low flame and add three cups of water and 1 cup of coconut milk (Optional)
- Add the Dahl, Onion, Green chilli, and Garlic and mix it all together
- Add all the Spices and the curry leaves together and let it simmer
- Cook until Dahl has softened to you liking
